BIRMINGHAM, AL – Two hundred and thirty-nine athletes, coaches and different officers with ties to the present Southeastern Conference colleges will compete within the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo, Japan.

All fourteen member colleges will likely be represented on the Games by way of 217 present and previous student-athletes in festival. Florida leads with 31 people, Georgia claims 28 Olympic representatives, adopted by way of 25 from Texas A&M, LSU with 23, 22 from Alabama, 19 from Kentucky, Tennessee with 16, Auburn with 15, Arkansas with 12, South Carolina with 10, Mississippi State with six, Ole Miss with 5 and 3 from Missouri and Vanderbilt.

A complete of 99 athletes with SEC ties will compete in observe & box with 64 in swimming & diving. In general, 12 sports activities can have athletes from SEC establishments with 58 international locations represented.

Eighty-two athletes from the SEC will constitute the United States, Trinidad & Tobago has 13, Jamaica has 11 and Canada with 10 delegates.

In addition, 12 present contributors of SEC training staffs will take part within the Games with 4 present volunteer coaches competing. There also are 9 former student-athletes taking part in different capacities.
