TAWANG, 3 Feb: Heavy snowfall has left a number of business and passenger automobiles stranded on Balipara-Charduar-Tawang (BCT) street.
Due to heavy snowfall close to Sela Pass, round 30 vans and passenger automobiles have been stranded there since Thursday.
“We have been stranded right here for the final three days because the street has been fully lined with snow,” a truck driver mentioned. Those stranded are additionally dealing with scarcity of meals and consuming water.
They mentioned that the BRO laborers are offering meals and different necessities to them.
Meanwhile, the scenario has prompted the Tawang district administration to problem a site visitors advisory on Friday for regulating the site visitors motion.
As per the advisory, all of the motion of site visitors, each civilian and armed forces, paramilitary forces on the BCT street from police examine gate, Jang (Tawang) in the direction of Sela Pass shall be allowed to maneuver on alternate dates from 5, 7, 9, and 11 February and proceed accordingly.

As per the advisory, steady snowfall has been skilled within the Sela Pass space attributable to which heavy accumulation of snow has been reported on the BCT street from Jaswant Garh (Tawang) to Baisakhi in West Kameng district.
The advisory said that this has led to site visitors jams for hours collectively, and even days on the already stressed-out street situation.
The administration cautioned that any violation of the advisory will entail prosecution as per legislation, and that the advisory will stay in pressure till additional order.
